It is located in the eastern part of the region, 12 km south-west of Temkin , 21 km northeast of the P132 highway Vyazma - Kaluga - Tula - Ryazan , on the banks of the Ugra river . The railway station Temkino on the Vyazma - Kaluga line is located 13 km north-east of the village.
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
