Located in the eastern part of the region, 16 km north-west of Temkin , 26 km south-east of the M1 Belarus highway, on the banks of the Zhizhala river. O. p. Railway station is located 1.5 km north of the village . The 36th km on the line Vyazma - Kaluga .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
