It is located in the eastern part of the region, 20 km northwest of Temkin , 20 km south of the Belarus highway M1 . At 11 km south of the village is the railway station O.p. 36th km on the Vyazma - Kaluga line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
