It is located in the northeastern part of the region, 18 km south-east of Sychevka , 17 km east of the P134 motorway “The Old Smolensk Road” Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the bank of the Kasnya River. 13 km west of the village is the Vazuza railway station on the Vyazma - Rzhev line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
The village of Dubetskoye is the birthplace of the Hero of the Soviet Union , the ground attack pilot Nikolai Yakovlevich Yakovlev (1921-1993).
