It is located in the northeastern part of the region, 9 km east of Sychevka , 8 km east of the P134 “Old Smolensk Road” highway Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the bank of the Kasnya River. 10 km to the west of the village there is the Sychevka railway station on the Vyazma - Rzhev line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
