It is located in the northeastern part of the region 17 km north of Sychevka , 8 km west of the P134 Staraya Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov . 4 km north-west of the village is the Osuga railway station on the Vyazma - Rzhev line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
