Rogachevo is a village in the Smolensk district of the Smolensk region of Russia . It is part of the Korokhotkinsky rural settlement. The population is 18 inhabitants ( 2007 ).

It is located in the western part of the region, 4 km north-east of Smolensk , 8 km south of the Belarus highway M1 , on the banks of the Kolodnya River. 4 km south of the village is the Volcheyka railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 [1] .
