It is located in the western part of the region, 26 km northwest of Rudny , 33 km west of the R133 Smolensk - Nevel highway, on the banks of the Sukhaya Polenitsa River. Rudnya railway station on the Smolensk - Vitebsk line is located 27 km southeast of the village.
