It is located in the western part of the region 15 km south-west of Rudny , 13 km north of the M1 Belarus highway. 14 km south-east of the village is the Krasnoe railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the years of World War II, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in October 1943 . [one]
