Located in the western part of the region, 20 km south-west of Rudny , 10 km north of the M1 Belarus road, on the banks of the Olshanka River. 13 km south of the village there is the Krasnoye railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in July 1941 , liberated in October 1943 . [one]
