It is located in the western part of the region 5 km west of Rudny , 3 km south of the A141 Oryol - Vitebsk highway. At 1 km southeast of the village is the railway station O.p. The 462nd km on the Smolensk - Vitebsk line .


History

During the years of World War II, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in October 1943 . [one]
