Located in the western part of the region, 9 km south-east of Rudny , 7 km south of the A141 Oryol - Vitebsk highway. O. p. Railway station is located 6 km north of the village . 450th km on the line Smolensk - Vitebsk .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in July 1941 , liberated in October 1943 . [one]
