It is located in the southern part of the region, 37 km north-east of Roslavl , 3 km north of the A101 Moscow-Warsaw highway (“Old Polish” or “Varshavka”), on the banks of the Bolshaya Prismara river . 25 kilometers south of the village is the Shchepot railway station on the Roslavl - Faience line .
History
