Located in the southern part of the region, 15 km north-west of Roslavl , 4 km west of the A141 Oryol - Vitebsk highway, on the bank of the Krapivnya River. The railway station Krapivenskaya on the Smolensk - Roslavl line is located 4 km east of the village.
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [1] In 1968, there were 33 courtyards in the village, about 70-80 inhabitants. There was a farm (barn) more than 100 cows, a stable of 5-7 horses. Plumbing - speakers on the street. In 1967, it was electrified.
