It is located in the southern part of the region, 4 km southeast of Roslavl , 4 km east of the A141 Orel - Vitebsk highway, on the banks of the Oster River. At 0.1 km north of the village is the railway station Roslavl II on the line Roslavl I - Faience .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the station was occupied by Nazi troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 [1] .
In April 2015, the movement of suburban trains on the Roslavl I - Fayansovaya section was stopped [2] .
