It is located in the southern part of the region 51 km north-east of Roslavl , 1 km north of the A101 Moscow-Warsaw highway (Old Poland or Warsaw), on the banks of the Krapivna River. 30 km south of the village is located the railway station O.p. The 37th km on the Roslavl - Faience line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
