Located in the southern part of the region, 58 km north-east of Roslavl , 8 km north of the A101 Moscow-Warsaw highway (“Old Polish” or “Varshavka”), on the banks of the Shuitsa River. O. p. Railway station is located 38 km south of the village . The 37th km on the Roslavl - Faience line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
