It is located in the southern part of the region, 61 km north-east of Roslavl , 13 km north of the A101 Moscow-Warsaw highway (Old Poland or Warsaw). At 43 km south of the village is located the railway station O.p. The 37th km on the Roslavl - Faience line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
