It is located in the southern part of the region, 46 km northeast of Roslavl , 7 km south of the A101 Moscow-Warsaw highway (Old Poland or Warsaw). At 21 km south of the village is the railway station O.p. The 37th km on the Roslavl - Faience line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
