It is located in the southern part of the region, 20 km north-east of Roslavl , 0.1 km north of the R137 Safonovo - Roslavl highway, on the banks of the Solna River. 20 km west of the village is the Tereshok railway station on the Smolensk - Roslavl line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
