It is located in the southern part of the region, 31 km north-east of Roslavl , 5 km south of the A101 Moscow-Warsaw highway (Old Polish or Warsaw), on the banks of the Buldyshka River. 15 km south of the village is located the railway station O.p. The 23rd km on the Roslavl - Faience line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
