It is located in the central part of the region 33 km south of Pochinka , 9 km west of the A141 Orel - Vitebsk highway, on the banks of the Stomet River . 8 km north-east of the village is the Tereshok railway station on the Smolensk - Roslavl line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]

Traditions

Almost every year, on Radonitsa , in the vicinity of the village, you can meet its former residents and their descendants.
