Located in the northeastern part of the region, 12 km east of Novodugin , 17 km east of the P134 motorway “The Old Smolensk Road” Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the bank of the Kasnya River. The railway station Novodugino on the Vyazma - Rzhev line is located 14 km west of the village.
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
