It is located in the north-eastern part of the region, 12 km east of Novodugin , 18 km east of the P134 Staraya Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the banks of the river Kasnya . 14 km west of the village is the Novodugino railway station on the Vyazma - Rzhev line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
