It is located in the north-eastern part of the region, 6 km south-east of Novodugin , 8 km east of the P134 Staraya Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov . 5 km south-west of the village is the railway station O.p. 219th km on the Vyazma - Rzhev line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
