Located in the northeastern part of the region, 22 km south-west of Novodugin , 15 km west of the P134 “Staraya Smolenskaya road” highway Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the bank of the Tulka river. At 19 km east of the village there is the Alexandrino railway station on the Vyazma - Rzhev line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
"Leaving the army to the chief of staff, Efremov personally led the 12,000th group of three broken divisions. On February 1, 1942, the 113th Infantry Division reached the Dashkivka area, the 160th Division - the Lyado area and the 338th - Vorobevka area. [2] (p.92)
