It is located in the north-eastern part of the region 22 km south-west of Novodugin , 17 km west of the P134 Staraya Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the banks of the Malinovka River. Alexandrino railway station on the Vyazma - Rzhev line is located 21 km east of the village.

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
