Located in the northeastern part of the region, 20 km west of Novodugin , 18 km west of the P134 “Staraya Smolenskaya road” highway Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the bank of the Gryaziva river. The railway station Novodugino on the line Vyazma - Rzhev is located 22 km east of the village.

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
