Platkovo is a village in the Monastyrschinsky district of the Smolensk region of Russia . Included in the Lubavichsky rural settlement. As of 2011, there is no permanent population. On the territory of the village there are only two non-residential dilapidated houses.

Located in the western part of the region, 25 km south-west of Monastyrschina , 56 km west of the A141 Oryol - Vitebsk highway, on the bank of the Vihra river. 61 km east of the village is located Vaskovo railway station on the Smolensk - Roslavl line .
Attractions
On the bank of the river Vikhra there used to be a wooden mill, to which grain was brought from the whole region. To date, there are only "stumps" in the place where she stood.
Also in the village on the river Vihra is a ford.
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
