It is located in the western part of the region 15 km south of Krasnoye , 17 km southwest of the P135 highway ( Smolensk - Krasny - Gusino ), on the banks of the Molokhovka River . Gusino railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line is located 35 km north of the village.

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
