It is located in the western part of the region 6 km northeast of Krasnoye , 4 km north of the P135 highway ( Smolensk - Krasny - Gusino), on the banks of the Losvinka River. 13 km northwest of the village is the Gusino railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 [1] .
