Located in the western part of the region, 25 km north-west of Krasny , 1 km north of the M1 Belarus road, on the bank of the Olshanka River. 3 km south-west of the village there is the Krasnoye railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 [1] .
