It is located in the western part of the region 15 km northwest of Krasnoye , 6 km south of the M1 Belarus highway, on the banks of the Svinaia River. At 5 km north-west of the village is the railway station O.p. 478th km on the line Moscow - Minsk .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
