It is located in the central part of the region 12 km north-east of Kardymov , 2.5 km north of the P134 Staraya Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the banks of the Losmen River. 11 km north-west of the village is the Priselskaya railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
