It is located in the central part of the region, 19 km northwest of Kardymov , 5 km north of the Belarus highway M1 , on the banks of the Khmost river . 16 km east of the village is the Priselskaya railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
