It is located in the central part of the region 9 km northwest of Kardymov , 9 km south of the M1 Belarus highway, on the banks of the Maly Vopets river . 11 km southeast of the village is the Kardymovo railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
