Located in the southern part of the region, 18 km south-west of Ershichy , 25 km southeast of the A101 Moscow-Warsaw highway (“Old Polish” or “Warsaw”). The Osva railway station on the Roslavl - Krichev line is located 20 km north-west of the village.
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
