Located in the southern part of the region, 12 km north-west of Ershichy , 12 km south of the A101 highway Moscow-Warsaw (“Old Polish” or “Varshavka”), on the banks of the Iput River. 7 km north of the village there is a railway station Krivoles on the Roslavl - Krichev line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in August 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
