Located in the northern part of the region, 52 km north-west of Dukhovshchina , 17 km north-west of the P136 Smolensk- Nelidovo road . 67 km east of the village is located Nikitinka railway station on the line Durovo - Vladimirsky Deadlock .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
