It is located in the northern part of the region, 10 km south-east of Dukhovshchina , 6 km north of the M1 Belarus road. 11 km south of the village there is the Priselskaya railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Hitler's troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
