It is located in the northern part of the region 9 km south-west of the Dukhovschina , 5 km west of the P136 Smolensk - Nelidovo highway, on the banks of the Khmost river . 19 km southeast of the village is the Priselskaya railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .


History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in July 1941 , liberated in September 1943 . [one]
