It is located in the northeastern part of the region 27 km southeast of Gagarin , 23 km south of the M1 Belarus highway, on the banks of the Vorya River . 26 km north of the village is the Kolesniki railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
