It is located in the northeastern part of the region 26 km southeast of Gagarin , 20 km south of the M1 Belarus highway, on the banks of the Vorya River . Kolesniki railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line is located 24 km north of the village.

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
