It is located in the north-eastern part of the region 18 km south-west of Gagarin , 12 km north of the M1 Belarus highway, on the banks of the Brulikha River. 5 km south of the village is the railway station O.p. 204th km on the Moscow - Minsk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
