Located in the northeastern part of the region, 17 km south-west of Gagarin , 5 km north of the M1 Belarus road, on the banks of the Vettsy river . The railway station Sergo-Ivanovskaya on the Moscow - Minsk line is located 3 km north of the village.
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
