It is located in the north-eastern part of the region 10 km south-west of Gagarin , 10 km north of the M1 Belarus highway, on the banks of the Toka River. 1.5 km east of the village is the Vasilisino railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
