Located in the northeastern part of the region, 10 km south-west of Gagarin , 5 km north of the M1 Belarus road, on the bank of the Toka River. 5 km north of the village is the Vasilisino railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
