It is located in the north-eastern part of the region, 40 km north-west of Gagarin , 27 km east of the P134 Stara Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the banks of the Korolevka river. 31 km west of the village is the Pomelnitsa railway station on the Vyazma - Rzhev line .
History
