Oktyabrsky is a village in the Vyazemsky district of the Smolensk region of Russia . It is part of the Yushkovsky rural settlement . The population is 68 inhabitants ( 2007 ).

It is located in the eastern part of the region 18 km south of Vyazma , 5 km west of the P132 Vyazma - Kaluga - Tula - Ryazan highway , on the banks of the Volost River . At 0.3 km south of the village is located the railway station O.p. 22nd km on the Vyazma - Kaluga line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]

In 2004, the village was transformed into a village [2] .
