It is located in the eastern part of the region 26 km north-east of Vyazma , 11 km east of the P134 Stara Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the banks of the Chizhovka River. Alexandrino railway station on the Vyazma - Rzhev line is located 9 km west of the village.
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
